ASUS has introduced a new dual-band 802.11ac WiFi router ‘BRT-AC828’ to its range. Utilizing the 4×4 (4-transmit, 4-receive) MU-MIMO technology for delivering outstanding coverage and smooth multi-device performance, this ultra-fast AC2600-class WiFi router is built with a 512MB RAM, a 256MB flash memory, an M.2 slot for ultra-fast networked SSD storage, a WPS button, 2x Internet LAN ports, 8x LAN ports and 2x USB 3.0 ports.
Equipped with 4 external high-gain antennas, the BRT-AC828 supports for dual-band WiFi access point (2.4GHz – 800Mbps and 5GHz – 1734Mbps) and provides security through encryption using WEP (64/128bit), WPA2-PSK, WPA-PSK, WPA-Enterprise and WPA2-Enterprise.
