Hello everyone, it’s that festive time of the year again when a judgemental fat guy tumbles down your chimney, paws through your stuff and maybe leaves a few presents provided you’ve met his requirements to be “nice.”
So I just wanted to take a moment and wish you all a very merry, very fantastic Christmas. I hope you have an amazing day full of love, laughter and good food. And of course, hopefully you get an awesome new game or two.
I know I’ve been quiet over the last week or so, and that’s because the cold I mentioned having during the last Weekend Whammy is still running rampant. My sinuses are clogged, breathing is a little tricky and I’ve got a mild fever. My Cystic Fibrosis team prescribed me some antibiotics which are starting to turn the tide of the little war raging inside me, but the side-effects are making me even groggier. Basically, my head feels like its full of cotton wool and I’ve got no energy, so writing has been nearly impossible. I’ve barely even been playing games.
But I have watched all eight episodes of The Witcher and fully intend on talking about it. Plus, I’ll be doing my Games of the Year for 2019. I’m not sure exactly when I’ll be writing those up, but I’m getting better so hopefully once Christmas is past I’ll get back on the ol’ metaphorical horse and get some actual work done.
Or I’m going to get completely absorbed in playing through The Witcher 3 yet again. That’s the bloody problem with the Netflix show, it’s making me want to play the games again. It seems I’m not the only one, either, as apparently The Witcher 3 got a huge boost in active players over the past week.
Right, well, I’m rambling now. Again, merry Christmas my friends. Have an awesome day, and I’ll talk to you all soon.
Baden a.k.a. Wolf.
