Originally released April 12, 2003, the Amazon Fire TV is a device that allows users to stream digital media to their televisions including movies, TV series, and even games.
The Fire TV is accompanied by a remote that has a built-in microphone that allows the unit to receive voice commands. The most recent version of the Amazon Fire TV includes 4K UHD picture, high dynamic range, and Dolby Atmos surround sound.
Amazon Fire TV Stick
The is also a less expensive version of the Fire TV called the Amazon Fire TV Stick. The Fire TV stick is a USB plugin that has most of the features of its more expensive counterpart. The main differences are that it has less memory, storage, and it does not support 4k or HDR. However, it does come in a smaller form factor.
